Hope this package reached you well. It started in Seoul, traveled through Milan and Paris, then to Berlin, and now it’s arrived here for you. Along the way, I kept making my box bigger. In the end, I’m finally ready to think outside the box.

Growing up in a small city in Korea, my worried mother even gave me special homework. I had to find three good qualities in each of my friends every day. I must have been really uninterested in people.

Through university and military service, I met people with very different experiences. Sometimes they felt unfamiliar, but that made me curious. I started spending time with all kinds of different people. That’s when I realized how many perspectives and stories exist in the world. My curiosity about people kept growing, and eventually I wanted to see a bigger world myself.

Even though leaving my comfort zone scared me, I moved to Seoul and started working in the fast paced city of capitalism. At first it felt intense, but I adapted pretty quickly. When everything started to feel familiar and I began gaining recognition, I wanted to grow again. I wanted to see what was waiting beyond my box.

Starting something new always scares me. But every time I do, my world expands. That belief eventually brought me to Europe. Two years in Europe have felt like unpacking myself all over again. Every city, every moment hands me another box to open. And every time, I learn something new.

So that’s why I’m here. I’m dying to unpack tons of amazing packages around me. And yes, I’m also making sure my packaging looks as nice as possible.
